Porter was an excellent dog.  He changed my life.  I got him from the shelter in the summer of 2000, and he was a true companion until October 3rd, 2014.  We traveled to Colorado, Utah, and California, hiking through the Redwood Forest.  Porter hiked with me in the Cascades and the Olympics.  He taught me how to be a dog person.  If not for Porter, I might never have had Tess, Kelsy, Komu, Fozzie, and Sky.  I owe him so much.  Thank you, Porter, for teaching me who I am.
