I spent time with Max today. He has been in boarding too long, and we really need to get him into a permanent home. He is such a good dog, and the people in his life have let him down. I really wish I could could keep him. He is happy all the time. When he becomes reactive, around a dog or a person, I would have no trouble containing him and redirecting his attention. He and I would be perfect together. The trouble with finding him a home is that everyone who has dog experience, who could manage an occasionally challenging dog, already has a dog or several. He needs a home with an experienced dog owner that doesn’t currently have a dog. Max is very photogenic. If he was my dog, I would have 10,000 pictures of him.
